Relief
Today my thoughts can't help but be directed to Haiti.
It surreal for me to see images and watch the news.
How could this happen?
Why were so many people hurt?
Why did an earthquake happen twice?
How can I help?
It is a blessing for me to realize that I can help.
I can donate to Humanitarian Aid along with my Tithing on Sunday.
I can send money to the Red Cross.
But most of all I can pray.
I am not really a huge religious blogger, but when it comes to times like these,
I am thankful I have my Heavenly Father who listens.
I know he does.
Many of the Haitian people are religious, and pray often.
I know not all are the same religion as I am.
But I know our Heavenly Father hears their prayers.
I know he hears mine, and I know he is sending relief and love in small tender ways.
There was a reason for this to happen in Haiti.
Maybe to teach someone something.
Maybe to teach me something.
We don't know why, all we know is that we can help in small ways.
We can send relief through our money, but we can also send it through our prayers.
Let's pray that they find organization, relief, food, water, and happiness soon.
My heart goes out to you Haiti...
