I have been so inspired by other craft blogs lately.
These ladies are always creating something unique, beautiful, and new!
I wanted to create something as well.
Here is my latest creation:

Mod Podge Flower
Supply List:
Mod Podge
Foam Sponge Brush
12" strips of scrapbook paper
Hot Glue Gun

Step 1)- Grab your Mod Podge, a sponge brush,
and cut your favorite color scrapbook paper into 12 inch strips.
Step 2) Begin creating your center circle.
Place a smudge of glue a little bit away from the edge of your center strip.
Step 3) Start rolling into a circle.
While you are rolling continue adding a little glue to the strip,
this will help hold it in the circle shape.
I stop when it is about a centimeter wide.
Cover the entire circle with a good coat of Mod Podge.
Give it about 20 minutes to harden.
Step 5) Repeat steps 2 &3 with the other color of strips.
These will make your outside petals.

Step 6) Start hot gluing the outer petals to the center circle,
in the shape of a flower.
Once you have all five on you are finished!
I added an elastic to the back and turned it into a cute ring!
You could also make it a charm on a necklace,
or even add it to a card or scrapbook page!
The possibilities are endless!
Here are a couple more rings I made using the same technique!

Take your chicken pieces, season them with your favorite seasonings
and cook them in a little oil in a skillet until they are browned.
Meanwhile cook your pasta per package directions.
Heat your spinach in a separate pan until warm.
Remove the chicken from the skillet and start your cream sauce.

Things have been a little crazy, tiring, and all together stressful
since returning home from the hospital on Sunday.
My husband is home, which is nice,
but it's hard caring for an 8 month old,
and a 3 year old who just had kidney surgery.
I get little rest which means little time to craft. (boohoo...)
So for today's tutorial I am sharing some of my favorite finds.
With St. Patty's Day tomorrow I searched for that theme.
I loved these:
1) Pinch Proof Tee
at Cuegly
Isn't it adorable?!
My baby girl definitely needs one!

2) Split Pea Shamrocks
at MADESOO FUN!!!

I hope to make tomorrow fun for my kids,
despite the circumstances.
I hope you all have a Happy St. Patrick's Day tomorrow!

Hey Bloggers, sorry for the absent post on Thursday and Friday.
My little boy had kidney surgery.
He is doing well, minimal pain, and recovering slowly.
We are home and getting back into the swing of things.
{Here we are before his surgery, he is back to smiling like this again so that's good!}
Today's recipe is delish!
It is my most favorite breakfast recipe.
Here is the recipe:

German Pancakes

1/2cup all-purpose flour, sifted
3eggs
1/2cup milk
2tablespoons melted butter
1tablespoon sugar
1/4teaspoon of salt

fresh fruit of your choice, cut into bite-sized pieces

whipped cream

About Concordance™

1.Preheat oven to 450°F. If you have a convection oven, set it at 425°F (the pancakes rise even higher on the convection setting).
2.In a large bowl, lightly beat the eggs with a whisk or fork. Stir in the milk, melted butter, salt and sugar. Add the flour to the egg mixture, a big spoonful at a time as you continue to whisk. Be careful not to over-mix, to keep the pancake light and fluffy.
3.Lightly spray a 9"-11" oven-safe skillet with cooking spray.
4.Pour the batter into a heated skillet (this will yield a more golden brown, puffier pancake). Bake 12-18 minutes, just until the edges are golden. Check your pancake at the 12 minute mark. Top with the fresh fruit and whipped cream just before serving.

Buttercream Bliss

I know I already posted a recipe today.
That was BEFORE I made heavenly Chocolate Buttercream for my brownies.
This frosting turned out divine and I had to share the recipe.
I discovered that the key to a good and perfect frosting is: real butter!
Without further ado:

Chocolate Buttercream Frosting

3 cups powdered sugar
1/3 cup butter, softened to room temperature
1/3 cup cocoa powder
2 tsp. vanilla
2 to 3 tbs. milk

-In medium bowl mix powder sugar and butter
with electric mixer or a spoon.
- Add in cocoa powder and mix until combined.
-Add vanilla and 1 Tbs of milk, mix well.
-Continue adding milk until you get the consistency you want.
Spread on your favorite cake, cupcake or cookie. Enjoy!
