Tutorial Tuesday - Cupcake Pillow/Stuffed Toy
As mentioned yesterday, we are celebrating around here this weekend.My daughter's birthday party is cupcake themed, and what better way to celebrate
then with a little stuffed cupcake friend?!

Make It Monday - Orange Creme Frosting
It will be cupcake themed and in preparation I have been scouring the internet
and trying different frosting recipes.
The idea is to make 4 different types of gourmet frostings and the topping white cupcakes with each, so our guests can have a choice of what they would like!
I am going for Orange Creme, Strawberry, Key Lime, and Vanilla.
I thought I would share the Orange Creme Recipe I found,
I am SO excited to use it, and hope you can too!

Orange Creme Frosting
Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter
3 ounces of cream cheese
1/2 teaspoon orange extract
2-3 drops of orange food coloring
2 cups powdered sugar
1-2 tablespoons orange juice
1 tablespoon of finely grated orange zest
Preparation:
Place butter, cream cheese, orange extract and food coloring in a mixing bowl. Beat on high until mixture is smooth and creamy. Add powdered sugar and mix on low until blended. Add orange juice if necessary to make a thick, spreadable frosting. Stir in orange zest.
Garnish each cupcake with finely minced orange zest if desired.

Finished! Friday
Today's post is always the hardest for me.I don't always get a ton of crafting or projects done in a week so I usually skip this post!
But this week, and being a newly formed one-car-family, I am home a lot and have caught up a bit on my crafting!
