No Right Clickie

I have recently had a few people ask for the tutorial
about how to stop people from right clicking on your blog.
I decided to post the tutorial here.
I had it on my family blog, but moved everything over,
and somehow forgot this tutorial.
Here you go:

Here is the step by step process:

Step 1: Click Layout --> Add a Gadget --> Choose HTML/Java Script
Step 2: Click the link and go to where it says View Code and Copy and Paste it in the box:
Get Code Here
Step 3: Click Save.
Step 4: View your Blog and Right Click to make sure it worked!
Step 5: If you want to change the wording of the warning that pops up go back to your HTML code and find this:
var message="Function Disabled!";

Change the part in red to whatever you want it to say.
Example - No, No, not yours!; This is mine; No Right Clickie - etc.

I do have a disclaimer: If people us Google Reader to read your blog,
they can still click on and take your pictures.
Also sometimes if they click to enlarge your photo to see it,
they can take it.
One way to keep your photos safe you can copyright them.
I will post a tutorial on this SOON!

Any questions please email me at: adailypost{at}yahoo{dot}com!
I am obsessed with Food Network.
I watch numerous shows and make sure to DVR the ones I may miss.
One of my favorite shows is Ultimate Recipe Showdown.
I love to see home cooks showing off their skills and winning!
This last week's episode was awesome.
The winning recipe was Apple Crisp Bread Pudding.Doesn't it look delish?!
I tried it and LOVED it!

I have had SO much fun these last few months making bows.
My baby girl is spoiled rotten and has a bow to match ALMOST every outfit!
It is something I have come to LOVE to do.

I decided to highlight a tutorial today
to show you another basic bow design.
All it truly takes is practice
and they turn out beautiful once you get the hang of it!
So grab your supplies and try it!

I used this tutorial from No Bow...No Go.
*Note: I don't have their templates, I just wrapped the ribbon around my fingers
and then took it off and made it even with one end facing left and on facing right.
I also only use Alligator Clips for the back.
If you have questions feel free to email me!*

I'm back!
But I am SAD that Spring Break is over!
It was nice to be able to go and visit my parents.
We also had a wonderful Easter as just our little family of four.
It was a wonderful week, and I am thankful for the many blessings I have.

Onto the recipe for today.
I chose one appropriate for this time of year,
and hope you will all enjoy!
This is one of my favorite salads.

Springtime Spinach Salad
Ingredients
  • 1 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 tablespoon Crisco® Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 package (10 ounces) fresh spinach, torn
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, toasted
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons raspberry vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

  • Place asparagus in a foil-lined 15-in. x 10-in. x 1-in. baking pan; sprinkle with olive oil and toss to coat. Bake, uncovered, at 400° for 15 minutes or until crisp-tender, turning occasionally. Cool.
  • In a large bowl, combine the asparagus. In a jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine the vegetable oil, vinegar, sugar and salt; shake well. Drizzle over salad and toss to coat. Serve immediately.
