Website Wednesday - Homemade by Jill

Tutorial Tuesday - Baby Doll Stroller Makeover

I had originally planned to post an entire tutorial on how to revamp
a Baby Doll stroller for my tutorial today. Halfway through my picture taking/redo,
my kids needed me, the hubby came home, and dinner needed to be made.
So I stopped. But I do have two websites,
that I will share with today that helped me during my stroller makeover.

Thanks to The Crafting Chicks and Prudent Baby, I finished Ry's stroller!

Make It Monday - Spinach Artichoke Dip

I made this dip for New Years, and it was a hit!
My family and I were eating it for days after and never got sick of it.
Enjoy!

Spinach Artichoke Dip

Ingredients

• 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
• 1/4 cup mayonnaise
• 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
• 1/4 cup grated Romano cheese
• 1 clove garlic, peeled and minced
• 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
• 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
• salt and pepper to taste
• 1 (14 ounce) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
• 1/2 cup frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
• 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a small baking dish.
2. In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, Romano cheese, garlic, basil, garlic salt, salt and pepper. Gently stir in artichoke hearts and spinach.
3. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish. Top with mozzarella cheese. Bake in the preheated oven 25 minutes, until bubbly and lightly browned.

Onto today's Finished! Friday projects...honestly I didn't get a whole ton of crafting in this week,
but I managed to cross one thing off of my project list and it's my son's Job Chart.
Thanks to my dear blogging friend Brooke at The Crafting Chicks,
I was able to accomplish this!

I used a scrapbook kit I had already and then took pictures of the things that my son needed to accomplish throughout the day. I plugged all that into the template and printed it.
I found an old frame I had lying around and put the chart inside, then placed a dry erase marker near it and Dallin makes his own "checks" each time he finishes a task.
It has worked like a charm for him and he is much more helpful and productive!
For this next week, I am starting to make bedding for this adorable baby crib my hubby found {yes found..for free...it retails at $69} for my daughter Rylee.
I will be using these tutorials HERE and HERE for a mattress, sheets, and bumpers.
